Sunday April 19th: Toronto Yonge Street 10K Toronto, Ont. Certified, Race Expo, Fast/PB Course Profile The Toronto Yonge Street 10K has established itself as a fast, fun and exceptionally organized event that is part of the Canada Running Series. Participants take shuttles or make their own way north to the start at Yonge and Castlefield Avenue. The race proceeds due south along and mostly down the city’s iconic Yonge Street on a course where elite and recreational runners alike can expect fast times. The finish line and all post-race amenities take place near historic Fort York Park complete with refreshments, entertainment and awards. Certified, Popular, Race Expo, Destination Race, Historic, Bucket List Event Profile Canada’s largest running event and the world’s third largest 10K is the historic and storied Vancouver Sun Run. This spring classic regularly hosts some 40,000 participants. The 10K course features several gentle rolling hills while providing a scenic tour of Vancouver’s downtown including views of distant mountains and Oceanside harbours. A post-race party is hosted inside B.C. Place Stadium where participants are invited for refreshments and entertainment.
